ever since our first arrival in the UK in 2009, Eid was never once a dull moment

praise to Allah, we were surrounded with beautiful warm people who treat us like family

plus, food are plenty during this time of the year as most ladies (and several guys) in the group certainly has God-given skill in cooking

Nasi minyak and acar (prepared by mr hubby) coupled with my honey chillied chicken were a great success! Ours ran out earlier than others!

another White Elephant party + list update

kitorang kumpulan wanita2 di Egham dan kawasan sekitarnya memang suke organise White Elephant party ni.. :) bukannya ape, boleh gather2 together, makan-makan, update stories about each other, gossip2, hehe buka hadiah dan yang penting sume dapat hadiah (cuma dapat hadiah best tak best je la)

in fact, party ni bukannya buat selalu sebab everybody is busy with their everyday chores and commitment, so once in a while it could gather everybody under the same roof and sharing laughs and fun time

qila sempat amik video for 1st person to open her present.. kalau tengok memang ramai yang join dan sangat happening ok! :)

at the end of the day, qila menang briefcase yang mengandungi 8 pcs knives yang diidamkan oleh ramai orang di White Elephant party semalam.. setelah bertukar tangan 3 kali, maka briefcase itu telah menjadi hak milikku setelah dicuri dari Kak Win! sorry sis! muahaha..

1. lose some weight -- 2 kg at least..

2. travel up North! :) --Scotty (my husband and I discussed about this and we've decided that we aren't going to Scotland this summer, but mr hubby has another plan for me on my birthday next week! tak sabar!!!! :)

3. buy something nice with the salary i own from invigilating

4. get new day and night mascara by Rimmel :) (will check whether it is well worth to buy or not for sure..dekat iklan tv macam best je)

5. birthday gift for my sister

6. siapkan result & discussion parts for manuscript

7. report for 2nd year progress meeting

8. habiskan satu english novel

9. puasa sunat bulan rejab

10. visit any historic buildings in london

11. burn at least 200 calories a day

12. siapkan poster for France conference

13. register myself for France conference

14. get Wii Fit/XBOX.. i need this as my birthday present.. can papa? :)

15. habiskan baca satu buku islamiah

16. get anything with mushroom picture on it!

17. masak nasi kerabu.. huhu

18. remember at least 20 common species of mushroom that i have in my database

19. make a vlog  ( i decide not to make a vlog but to make videos for my 2 blogs ;)

20. make a giveaway for my blog readers

21. beli solar light for my garden (hubby kata takyah beli..pasang pelita ala2 melayu lagi cantik)

22. bake a cake/pastry/cupcakes at home

23. try new style of tudung

24. try new recipe for pasta/spaghetti

25. learn and remember 10 Q&As of everyday life conversation in Arabic

wow,  a few things to scratch more and my birthday anniversary is just around the corner! can't wait for next Wednesday!! i am turning 26!

salah satu aktiviti wanita2 Egham

last two days we had gathering for ladies (i thought it was just for ladies but in the end there were two guys ended up joining us)
tujuan gathering - saje-saje.. sebab most kakaks and auntie(s) di sini adalah housewives, dan suami2 mereka sahaja yang keje/study 
food theme for that day was - western's
so i brought spaghetti with mushroom and black pepper sauce and also brioche in custard for the dessert ( some kakaks who didn't have a chance to eat it during Eid gathering asked me to make it again as everybody loves it)

antara yang datang..lihatla diatas meja itu...loaded with food! semuanya sedap2..

done with the eating, all ladies moved on with White Elephant game.. we had our present wrapped and nobody knows whose gonna get what for this game.. dalam game ni boleh main curi-curi hadiah orang lain plak.. 

at first, i unwrapped this present and i got Portmeirion clock.. in the end kene curi dengan orang lain yang minat dengan jam ni

another gift unwrapped and i got this.. still lagi kene curi dengan orang lain but in the end i managed to steal it back from the previos stealer..haha.. after 4 times changing hands, finally the owner is ME!!
happy sangat sebab this container dah sold out masa i went to the Portmeirion Marquee Sale haritu.. last2 dapat free :)

the gift was chocolate shower foam bought at Next.. ramai jugak yang curi shower foam tu..yela..masing2 kata nak guna masa mandi dengan suami masing2..haha

Spring Picnic

the day was bright and sunnier but quite windy
but still perfect for a picnic by the river though
saya, hubby dan family2 senegara lain telah berkumpul di Runnymede Park untuk berpiknik beramai-ramai
tempat ni tak jauh pun dari rumah, hanya 5 min drive dari rumah je :)
tapi mahal betul parking rate die £1.50/hour

rug yang dah beli tahun lepas, tapi hari ini baru digune..chumel tak? ;)

food -- ni baru sebahagian je..

selepas 4 jam ber'sun bathing' di park ini, kami pun beransur pulang..tapi tak sah kalau kaum2 wanita ni tak bergambar beramai-ramai.. :)
